PACKING HINTS

Proper packing is the most importance thing that you the shipper can save time, money, and aggravation. Sometimes the packing method is like an art.

Following are some hints for several packing in different types of items: For Jewelry: are packed individual or group in the plastic pound. Use bubble pack if necessary. Then put into standard carton box for air shipment in line up position. Use also many writing papers at bottom inside the box, make them as divider between groups of jewels to other until the top of the box. The box will be completely packed by wooden crate to protect them from heaping boxes during the journey. Tips: Do not fill the box to be overloaded. Overload-filled boxes may burst. For Handicraft: are individually wrapped by writing papers, depending on the fragile, surface and its size. Fragile ones with sensitive surface may use foam sheet or by carton sheet. Put them into standard carton box if possible. For LCL cargo, the boxes are completely packed by wooden crate/box. For Air Cargo or Full Container, the box can be shipped in loose pack (without wooden box nor wooden crate). The glassware or mirror frame, we highly recommend to covering the surface with foam sheet, styro foam and bubble pack.
For Stone or Ceramic: small ones are wrapped individually with carton sheet and bubble pack, and use shredded paper inside the box, and packed completely by wooden box or crated. Large items exceed the size of standard box are wrapped individually with heavy-duty carton sheet and crated by wooden in hanging position, fasted tightly in all side, to make flexible of shaking during the transit/journey. The hard/mountain rocks are packed by wooden crate. Use also shredded papers or heavy-duty carton sheet if necessary to protect surface from collision. If possible, use either the unused tire as the bottom foundation to make them flexible of the shaking. By FCL Cargo, on request it may use loose pack. Sometimes packing by crate or wooden box may take too much space inside container.
For Furniture: wrapping by foam sheet and carton sheet is a must. The foam sheet may protect the surface from scratching. Use double layer carton sheet to protect the edges of the items. Put them for completely packing into wooden box if shipped by LCL Cargo, or packed in loose pack by FCL Cargo.

NOTE:
All wooden packaging material are ensured to procedures and system are in place prior to export to verify that the material has set in ISPM 15 (International Standard Phytosanitary Measure) in accordance with The United Nation of Foods and Agricultural Organization (FAO) regulation.


AIR FREIGHT SHIPMENT

We offer air freight forwarder services with guaranteed daily distribution to and from the origin airports. Including Import & cuatoms clearance.

Regular Air Cargo: Shipment by regular air cargo is generally based on port to port service only, with minimum quantity rate is 45 Kgs. This shipping option we recommend should you have heavy cargo more than 45 Kgs.
Air Courier: we recommend you to use this option, should the cargo is very urgently. The rate is lest expensive that by regular cargo. By Courier, the service is door to door. We currently deal with DHL, FedEx, TNT, etc.
NOTE:
Sometimes large items with a light overall weight can be charged according to the space they take up on aircraft. In these cases, Volumetric Weight or dimensional (Dim) weight is used to calculate the shipment cost. The greater weight of the actual weight or volumetric weight is used to work out the price that will be charged.

International Volumetric Weights are calculated using the formula:
Length x Width x Height in centimeters / 6000 = Volumetric Weight in kilogram.


SEA FREIGHT SHIPMENT

We handles ocean shipments originating in the Indonesia, to all destinations.  We offer full container load (FCL) cargo to international ports from any origin in our country. Wwe also offer less than container load (LCL) movements from any major US port to the destination of your choice.
During our fast cargo processing. Through an extensive international network of agents, we are able to route your goods worldwide. From single shipments to multiple shipments to project cargo, our experts will arrange logistical movements from the point of origin to the world.

LCL (Less Container Loaded) is like ‘a retail' cargo. The minimum charge to use this option is 1 cubic meter (CBM). The LCL rates are more expensive that by FCL Cargo. LCL Cargo is individual shipment and associated with other shipment in one full container.

The volumetric is calculated using the formula:
Length x Width x Height in centimeters / 1.000.000 = Volumetric Weight in cubic meter (CBM). FCL (Full Container Loaded) is cargo in one full box/container. The advantage to use this option is you can ensure that your cargo is not mixed with other cargo, time guarantee and easily to get the definitive schedule of departure and arrival date. Beside we can supervise on the loading process onto container. In some cases, 15 CBM by LCL Cargo is nearly same charges by FCL Cargo. Following are the size of container in generally used:

1x20' mean that the length of box/container is 20 feet or equal to 6 meters with capacity load gross 30 cubic meters. In our experience by 20 feet, we can load approximately 280 – 300 standard air boxes.

INSURANCE

Although packing is properly, the unexpected can happen and sometimes does during load, transit and unload process. Therefore we suggest you to insured your valuable items with the Insurance. The insurance is available at premium 2,5% from total declared value. The Insurance is provided separately by Insurance Company.

The insurance does not cover All risk Policies;
- damage because of humidity/water or moisture damage.
